The classic sailing yacht Doriana which is 38 meters is now listed for sale. It has been listed by Jim Acher at Bluewater.
The yacht was built in teak by the yacht yard Denmark Frederikssund yard with delivery in the year 1930. She was owned privately until she fell into disrepair. Then, she was rescued by the people and rebuilt almost entirely in the year 2003/2004 at Navcon shipyard in Germany to DNV class. The reconstruction of the interior of this yacht was designed by Donald Starkey, who is the British naval architect. All the oak frames that were present on the yacht were checked thoroughly and were replaced. Most of them replaced. Meanwhile, all the technical things present in the yacht were also scrapped, removed and replaced; this included the engine, electrical equipment, generators and all wiring and plumbing.
